For the Love of Squishmallows
/If you have a Squishmallow enthusiast in your midst, you need this post! For collectors, they are adorable and squishy, but for the rest of us, they are space-sucking, glorified stuffies, infiltrating our very last nerves of sanity and calm. Whoops, did we get a little carried away there?? Here’s some of our tried and true tips and tricks to get your Squishmallow squad in order!
Color Coordinate. As our friends at @thehomeedit say, who doesn't love a rainbow? Arrange your Squishmallows by color for a visually pleasing display. This method is especially great if you have shelves or a display case. Plus, it makes finding a specific Squishmallow a breeze!
Create a Reading Nook. Use the big and oversized Squishmallows as floor pillows to create a cozy space to read, draw, make friendship bracelets, or the like.
Hammocks and Nets. Squishmallow hammocks or nets that hang in the corner of your room are perfect for saving space while displaying your collection. They add a playful touch and keep your Squishmallows off the floor. And also make it super easy to grab the one you want or toss the one you don’t back!
Create a Theme. Got a bunch of animal-themed Squishmallows? Or maybe a lot of holiday-themed ones? Group them by theme! This can add a fun, curated look to your collection. It also makes it easier to rotate displays based on the season or your current favorites.
Use Display Shelves and Bins. Investing in some shelves is a game-changer. Floating shelves, bookcases, or even a dedicated Squishmallow wall can showcase your collection beautifully. For the bigger Squishmallows, consider using the lower shelves, while the smaller ones can go on top.
